To strengthen and become part of our Ultrasound Business Unit at Canon Medical Systems Europe, we announce the following vacancy in the European Head office in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands

European Director Ultrasound

Manages all aspects of the products and sales strategies of the Ultrasound business and leads the Canon Medical Systems Europe (CMSE) Ultrasound Business Unit.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Provides leadership to the Ultrasound Modality members;
  • Develops and executes strategic growth Business plans for the Ultrasound Modality;
  • Formulates the annual business plan for the Business Unit based on growth targets set by the management team;
  • Provides sales and strategy support to Canon Group Companies (CGCs) and Channel Partner Network (CPN);
  • Conducts market requirement analysis. Monitors market trends, competitor movements, price levels, and market conditions relative to specific product offering(s);
  • Focus on management innovation.

 

Skills and Competences

  • University/MBA-like degree with emphasis in Marketing and Sales;
  • Extensive experience in medical imaging equipment business in an international/EU environment;
  • Financial and business analysis skills;
  • Clinical understanding of diagnostic imaging and understanding of healthcare industry;
  • Analytical, organizational and strong leadership skills to manage long-term sales cycles and to perform in matrix management environments;
  • Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken) and communication skills;
  • Influencing skills in order to change the reasoning and actions of others in a positive way;
  • Willingness and ability to travel to support the CGCs/CPN and European installation locations;
  • Excellent people leadership skills.
