Vienna, Austria, 1 March 2018 – Canon Medical Systems introduces its new, smart, versatile and compact tablet ultrasound solution Viamo sv7 at the European Congress of Radiology 2018 (ECR) in Vienna, Austria.
Viamo sv7 is an innovative ultrasound solution that combines premium imaging technologies with the size and intuitiveness of a smart device. With this device, combining exceptional high image quality and a large 12 inch touchscreen allowing point of care users to see more clinical detail, Canon is set to make a big splash in the tablet ultrasound market.
A 3 hour-battery and high storage capacity, which is expandable through USB, ensure maximum reliability during critical situations. Viamo sv7 has a versatile selection of compact transducers to cover a wide range of imaging requirements across all routine point of care examinations, including FAST and eFAST.
A durable case protects the system during transportation and in stressful environments. The screen can be locked into several positions, allowing the user an optimal viewing angle while keeping one hand free for important imaging tasks.
