The first installation

The University hospital in Leiden was the very first in Europe to have a GENESIS Edition installed. Leiden has always been an early adopter of new CT technique as it was amongst the first Aquilion ONE users in 2007/2008 as well.

Prof. A. De Roos from Leiden University presented his first experience using the Aquilion ONE / GENESIS Edition during Canon Medicals Lunchsymposium in Leipzig, Germany. The cases he presented during this symposium ranged from Pediatric Cardiac CTA scans in patients with a HR of 120+ BPM to patients from the ICU that can be routinely scanned on the GENESIS Edition.
